Knowing
your thoughts and putting it on paper is
not that easy. But to put your thought into
practice is even more difficult. This is
the same principle that applies to the processes
of the Jewelry Industry as well. One may
design some fantastic concepts on paper,
however, when it comes to the actual implementation
of the same, it becomes very difficult for
a normal designer to be able to communicate
with the goldsmith (karigar). Infact, more
than often, designs are found to be impracticable
for manufacturing.
To avoid this situation with its students.
CREATIONS, has taken a huge leap in 'Jewelry
Education', by introducing 'Manual Karigari' or Handmade jewelry, for the first time
ever in India. There is no other Institute
that can offer courses like or similar to
those offered by CREATIONS. To support this,
CREATIONS has also scheduled a course in
Industrial Jewelry Manufacturing, including
cutting Wax pieces on CNC machines for
Casting Jewelry. This again would be the
first of its kinds in India.

Creations intends to expand its horizons
to various locations across India, and is
staring off with Pune as its hub of expansion
plans. CREATIONS is soon coming up with
a lucrative business plan for potential
business partners who believe in themselves,
and ofcourse the 'BILLION DOLLAR' industry

Creations is planning out a 'Mega Jewelry
Show' in Pune, which would be a first of
its kind of a show. Scheduled for Dec.'
07, this show intends to bring known brands,
both National as well as International under
one roof, and hence enhance the prospects
of making Pune the next preferred destination
for the Jewelry Industry.
Creations would offer its students a Free
participation in this exhibition, in order
to bridge the gap between the industry and
its own students.

Creating a unique piece, and not being able
to display it to the respective industry,
is a common problem with the students, from
most of the institutes. However, to enable
its students to showcase their talent, CREATIONS
has scheduled a Students' Exhibition in
Jan.'08. This exhibition aims at giving
the students an exposure to various elements
of the professional world, like optimum
pricing for their product, negotiation skills
and ofcourse, last but not the least, presentation
to the industry.

How
would you feel, if you were to design something,
and not know how your competitors would
rate your work, or rather where you stand
in the competition? The students, who have
newly acquired a skill, often feel airy
about themselves and get over - expectant
from the industry. Creations however, has
always maintained that students should know
what they deserve at every walk of life,
and feels that a healthy competition, is
the only way to help them realize the same.
With this in mind, CREATIONS has chalked
out an open house competition, where it
would invite students from all over the
designers' community to participate, and
hence provide a grading scale to its own
students.
This OPEN HOUSE TALENT HUNT, is
scheduled for Nov.-Dec.'07.
